Minneapolis. Dayton's Gallery. 1970. Softcover. Book Condition: Near Fine with slight staining on softcover. 80pp.
1st edition with 80 illustrations (including 2 foldouts) that document the contents of the exhibition at Dayton's Gallery 12 on April 4 - May 2, 1970, and subsequent shows in New York and Pasadena. "Currents" was a six-foot-long silkscreen produced in an edition of six copies (shown in the foldout at the back of the book). Also in the exhibition were collages and silkscreen studies of the elements of the final production. The silkscreens were composed of newspaper and magazine clippings and produced by a transfer process that Rauschenberg invented in the early 1960s.
