il ne m'est Paris que d'Elsa: poèmes by Louis Aragon (Fr.)
This product is currently sold out.
For Aragon's "Il ne m'est Paris que d'Elsa," the poems' title figure is invoked after his wife and muse, Russian author Elsa Triole. Together with his wife, the poet worked to set up a National Front of Writers in the South during the War, and himself wrote for the underground Les Éditions de Minuit. A founding member of the Surrealists, he wrote under the pen name "Aragon."
