Olé was a magazine founded in 1964 "Dedicated to the Cause of Making Poetry Dangerous." It was perhaps most defined by its inclusion of Bukowski (three times in the first volume, and subsequently at least once in every volume) and, over the course of it's publication, featured such poets as William Wantling, Anais Nin, Neeli Cheery, James Baldwin, and William Carlos Williams. This anthology is the best poetry, as selected from all eight volumes of the magazine by the editor, Douglas Blazek.
