Seven Authors In Search of a Reader
A bookish discovery from 1966 at the excellent archive.org.
"A spoof on readers and non-readers as seven Dutch authors watch people do everything but read: they throw books, walk on them and sit on them. But the joy one young man finds in reading is contagious and the film ends happily for all. Uses the styles of well-known film directors and Seurat's famous painting, "Sunday in the park," for a take-off point."
