Paris: Établissement Public du Centre Beaubourg. 1975. Large manila folder with pasted label containing ephemera pertaining to the planning, construction and purpose of the Centre Pompidou, which opened later the following year. Condition: Some offsetting to a few of the materials, else Very Good to Fine. 1" chip missing from folder spine.

Contents were specifically prepared for the French cultural attache  in San Francisco, Jacques Beauroy. All materials are thus in mostly in English. Packet contains 18 individual items, including press releases, booklets, newsletters, and a gelatin silver internegative of the Centre Pompidou architectural model, produced for press and publication use. A few individual page items are original photocopy duplicates.  A very special and unusual  time capsule of Parisian cultural and architectural history.
